Groß-Buchholz as a base for workers
Groß-Buchholz is a quiet residential district in eastern Hannover, ideal for a longer contract stay. Tram 7 and a bus stop are right at the door, and a REWE supermarket with a bakery is around the corner — handy after a long day on site. The MHH and INI hospitals are about 5–10 minutes by car. There is a restaurant next door.
Access to industrial zones and the Messe
From Groß-Buchholz you have good car and van access to Hannover's industrial zones and the Messe exhibition grounds. Hannover Airport (HAJ) is about 15 minutes away, making arrivals and crew swaps easy. During trade-fair weeks — Domotex (Jan 19–22), Hannover Messe (Apr 20–24) or Agritechnica (Nov 8–14) — city hotels regularly sell out, so a permanent worker base nearby is a real advantage.
